First of all I would like to start out by saying that the Fourth of July weekend in the Cities was great time. The guys and I had an awesome and a thanks goes out to A female Minnesotan that I had a good weekend with as well. Being out on the lake with friends and having a good night life enabled unforgettable memories to be made. However, before this weekend happened I had a different blog topic in mind. It was to be titled "My Two Favorite Holidays." These holidays are in fact not holidays at all. They are day before Thanksgiving and the third of July. These days generally never fail to be a great time. Yet, when I came back on July 3rd after a the weekend in the cities I was disappointed. Previous year's celebrations had been abrupt and riotous affairs. I quickly discovered the city in which I live did not believe in awesome July 3rd celebrations. Apparently I have to wait until next year to see if one of my favorite holidays returns or if it occurs only every couple years.
As far as this month's events, I can not wait until the 22-24 weekend as it may be a weekend that will go down in the boundless archives in my head of great weekends. It's going to be a good bachelor party.
Here's a little sports talk. There are several topics floating around in my head here in early July. One, those damn Brewers better step it up. As an avid Brewers fan I am tired of them playing grab ass and getting no where. A giant fuck you to the NFL and the NBA. Get your shit together. These leagues are losing money daily yet there talks haven't progresse3d farther to to 6 year old children arguing out on the playground. Finally, thank you to Russell Wilson for choosing the Badgers and possibly making this a quite eventful upcoming college football season.
This blog is brought to you by NCAA College Football '12 released this Tuesday.
